As you know, architects provide their services as a professional practice in many category…

Category-A

1. By the name of individual office as a brand,

2. By the name as a design consultant as a brand,

3. By the name of the group or organization as a brand,

Category-B

4. By the office in personal name,

5. By personal name without any office,

Category-C

6. Most individual architects provide their services to Category-A & B or through Category-A & B,

Category-D

7. Directly to the Government as a job.

8. 3rd party-based service – commission-based services.

Who are the recipients of our services? On whom the whole profession rests.

1. Upper class like; big business tycoons or brands… “Well Organized”

2. Government Projects or Government related Projects… “Fluctuate as per Government Stability”

3. Real-Estate Projects…”Few Organized & Mostly Unorganized”

4. Individual Projects… “Depends on fund Structure”

5. Non-Government Public Projects… “Depends on fund Structure”

6. Work for Individual People…”Depend on fund Structure”

7. Unorganized Builders… “It does not deserve to be trusted, so it is not right to count them”

8. 3rd party-based service … commission-based services.

Professional Practic

1. The market share with the upper class is fixed at around 15 percent. These people either choose Category-A or decide to go with them without any confusion. However the number of such architects in Category-A is limited according to the opportunities. That’s why there is always more scope here because the number of people in this class keeps on increasing.

2. If we talk about government projects… then how many government projects launch every year? How many projects are executed at sites? And how many architects get these projects? And how many capable architects are doing practice in the market and how many architects get these government projects? Anyone can guess this.

3. Now that we are talking about real estate projects, there are a lot of very strong players here in this sector who call themselves well-organized and well-reputed. It seems as if our governments are also dependent on them and our courts are also unable to get them to work according to the rules. So, for how many people it is an organized sector, and for how many people it is difficult to say an unorganized sector. How many architects benefited from this sector how many real estate professionals benefited or how many investors benefited from this sector? Everyone knows through regular news.

4. Individual projects are the backbone for all professionals, all architects are dependent on them but these projects depend on the funds available to the clients and thus all always require a large number of such clients, but this may not always be possible for any architect. So that the process of movement of projects remains continuous.

5. Non-government public projects act as a void for the architects as such projects always suffer from paucity of funds and their expectations are very high. Financial assistance is required to complete such projects. Due to this the completion of these projects often takes time. But such projects also help to keep us busy.

6. This is a very big category on the basis of population in our country India. Because everyone needs a pucca house to live in and a shop or office for use, it is also a sign of their progress, and everyone dreams of having their home, shop, or office designed by an architect. But only a few of these people are able to do so because they have their own preferences, due to which these people are unable to reach the architect even if they want.

7. This is such a category that despite not being a professional (civil engineer or contractor), they are rendering their services in the market. Their main strength is their money and political reach. On the strength of which they have captured the remaining 50% of the market. Often these people build buildings by making architects a pawn. This is the main business of unorganized builders. These people do not follow architects but make architects work according to their own.

So, it depends on how the architects reach the clients or how the clients reach the architects. It also depends on what are the preferences of the service provider and the service recipient. The service of architects depends on the professional charges received by them.
